Skip the traffic. Skip the runway. Monty is an electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft built for point-to-point urban flight. American-assembled in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Unveiled at AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2026 in Detroit.

Why Monty

Skip the license.

Single-seat eVTOL. Six-rotor redundant lift. 17 minutes of autonomous point-to-point flight. FAA Part 103 compliant, so no pilot's license, medical certificate, or registration is required. Set your destination and go. Monty handles the rest.

Faceted, angular shell. Exposed aluminum lattice frame. Integrated LED accents along the body lines. The frame decouples the rotor system from the cabin, keeping weight low and maintenance accessible. A tactile, color-coded cockpit means one pilot, zero distractions.

The Monty

What it does

Takes off and lands vertically.

No runway. No helipad. Monty lifts from a flat surface and sets down the same way.

Flies itself.

Set a start point and an endpoint. The onboard flight system handles navigation, obstacle avoidance, and landing autonomously.

Single-seat cockpit.

A tactile, color-coded control interface built for immediate readability and minimal cognitive load. One pilot, zero distractions.

Carries what you need.

An integrated storage bay is engineered directly into the airframe — no bolted-on afterthoughts, no structural tradeoffs.

Stays cool under load.

Active intake geometry channels airflow across avionics and batteries, reducing thermal load without fans or extra weight.

Cleared to fly.

No license required

FAA Part 103 compliant. No pilot's license, no medical certificate, no registration to operate.

Helmet required

A standard aviation or motorcycle helmet, the same as a kit aircraft or ultralight.

Daylight, uncongested areas

Operate during daylight hours in uncongested airspace, away from airports.
